She is a special woman

Hua is my friend's mother. She blind when I knew her. She can saw clothes for her children by hand. She can say people's name when she just heared their step sound that people she well know. In particular she can do paper cut. Every Chinese New Year she gives her friend gifts as dragon, fish, character with animals, and many kind of shapes paper cut. The local TV station took her paper cut on TV show. People are so surprise that art were made by blinds woman. Last year she exhibit paper cut on her capital city of the province. Now more people know her. Blind lady Hua bring her heart's art for us. We are admire her by our heart. Her eye's was blind, but her life is blight. She is a special woman.

I didn't get the job

I hve been looking for a job since I came to LA. It's hard to get one now. Last week I saw the ads on the news paper. There is a job opportunity as a Chinese teacher. I sent my resume and called the employer. The administrator answered my phone call. Dhe asked me some relevant questions as to job skill, experience, certificates etc. Finally she said: you are quality, but she was sorry. We got talking nicely during the conversation by phone. I politely asked her the reason does she couldn't hir me. She honestly told me that they actually don't need teachers now. The advertisement is their business strategy. Hanging up the phone I realized that people made advertisement from multiple notivations. Don't be upset or disappointed when you are unsucccessful in finding a job. Keep going and encourage yourself. The right job and real employers will find you someday!
